PLC Engineer Maintenance & Technician

The PLC Engineer/Technician is responsible for programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PLC-based automation systems to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective factory operations. The role supports production continuity, minimizes downtime, and provides operational data to support management and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• PLC programming, modification, and troubleshooting
• Maintenance of automation systems (PLC, HMI, Sensors, VFDs)
• Diagnose and resolve machine breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of control systems
• Installation, commissioning and testing of new equipment
• Compliance with Safety, EHS, and company standards
• Coordination with Accounts/Finance for downtime, energy, and maintenance costs
• Maintain documentation: PLC backups, drawings, SOPs, maintenance logs
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
