URGENT REQUIREMENT FOR KUWAIT 1

ELECTRICIAN Should have Diploma in electrical/electronic with three 3 yrs exp or Higher Secondary School with 5 yrs’ exp or equivalent. Possesses special skills in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement tools. Be able to read, write, and speak English. CABLE JOINTER Must have vast experience of making joints on different types and sizes of cables, both PVC, XLPE and paper-insulated for voltage up to 33 kV. Must be able to work with all types of jointing materials such as hot and cold compounds, conventional and heat-shrink type boxes, soldered and crimped connections, plumping of lead-sheaths and use of different types of insulating tapes, and the like. Must be able to read cable layout drawings so as to follow and locate cable routes. Must be able to test the cables, identify the cores and do the phasing and be able to use megger, AVO meters and other instruments. Must be fully aware of the precautions for working on high-voltages and the different safety measures required to be taken before working on HT cables. Must be able to assist the Engineer in locating the faults and be aware of the various instruments used and procedures required to be followed. INSTRUMENT FITTER Have five (5) years’ experience in Instruments in Oil and Refinery areas. Have Secondary Certificate and Trade Certificate. Be able to complete assigned jobs with minimum supervision. CABLE JOINTERS MATE Secondary Certificate and three (3) years’ trade certificate or equivalent with five (5) years’ experience in similar facilities. MECHANICAL FITTER Have 5 yrs practical exp in the repair of mechanical equipment in Oil & Gas industries such as Process vessels, heat exchangers, coolers, valves, piping. Possesses special skills in the use of hand tools, power tools and precision measuring tools such as rulers, calipers and dividers. Be able to read, write and speak English language freely ELECTRICAL MATE Have Secondary School, Have Three (3) years practical experience in helping Electrician. Basic knowledge in the use of hand tools, power tools and precision measurement tools. Be able to read, write and speak English freely.
