Safety Officer, Instrument Technician

• Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of total experience.
• Out of this, at least 3 years of experience should be in the Oil & Gas industry.

Candidates who have completed NEBOSH certification and possess comparatively lesser experience may also be considered for the positions of:

• Permit Receiver
• HSE Documentation
• Assistant Safety Officer

Main Responsibilities

A Safety Officer at NSH is generally expected to:

• Implement and monitor HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits
• Identify hazards and perform risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco / SABIC / international safety standards
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses
• Prepare safety reports and documentation
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices
• Coordinate emergency response procedures
• Promote a strong safety culture among workers and supervisors

Required Qualifications

Typical qualifications include:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (any engineering field preferred Mechanical)
• NEBOSH IGC / OSHA / IOSH certification
• Experience in:
  • Oil & Gas
  • Petrochemical
  • Construction
• Good English communication skills
• Knowledge of:
  • Risk Assessment (RA)
  • Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
  • Permit to Work (PTW)
  • Work at Height
  • Confined Space
  • Fire Safety
  • Scaffolding Safety
  • Lifting Operations
