Position Name GIS Technician

Jobs in Brief: • Compiling and organizing GIS data from maps, databases and other

sources,
• Conversion, import and export data in and out of the GIS System,
• Create detailed 2D or 3D designs for complex projects.
• Keep up to date on industry and engineering standards.
• Generate reports and thematic maps on the data within the GIS

Qualification: • Diploma from an accredited college. Knowledge of CAD and GIS tools such

as ESRI, AutoCAD etc.

Experience: • Minimum 10 years relevant experience
• Experience with mapping tools.
• Experience with CAD tools.
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of GIS with Professional GIS Certification*
• GIS and CAD interoperability knowledge.
