Aluminium Fabricator

cuts, shapes, and assembles aluminium components for products like windows, doors, and curtain walls. Key duties include reading blueprints, operating cutting/welding equipment (saws, routers, MIG/TIG), installing finished products, and ensuring precision in measurements while adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication: Cutting, drilling, bending, and shaping aluminium profiles and sheets based on technical plans.
Assembly: Joining parts using screws, rivets, adhesive bonding, or welding (MIG/TIG).
Installation: Installing finished windows, doors, partitions, and facades at client sites.
Quality Control: Inspecting finished pieces to ensure they meet specifications, quality standards, and smooth finishes.
Material Handling: Preparing materials for production and managing inventory (e.g., in-charge of storing extrusions/hardware).
Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining machinery and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Usually 3–5 years of experience in aluminium fabrication or glazing.
Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and shop plans.
Machinery Usage: Proficiency with cutting saws, drills, and welding machines.
Accuracy: High level of precision in measuring and cutting materials.
Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical labor, such as lifting materials.
