JOB DESCRIPTION – TRENCH CUTTER MECHANIC
Location: Israel
Position: Trench Cutter Mechanic
Salary: USD 5,000 – 6,000 per month (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Trench Cutter Mechanic to join a leading construction and infrastructure project in Israel. The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and efficient operation of trench cutter equipment used in diaphragm wall and deep foundation works.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on trench cutter machines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Replace worn or damaged components, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain maintenance records and report equipment performance issues.
• Assist operators in troubleshooting machine breakdowns at project sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and equipment manufacturers for technical support when required.
• Maintain tools, spare parts, and workshop equipment in good condition.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Trench Cutter Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Experience with foundation equipment, trench cutters, piling rigs, diaphragm wall equipment, or similar heavy construction machinery.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, diesel engine, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and maintenance diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions.
• Basic English communication skills preferred.
