Job Description:

We are looking for experienced QC Welding Inspectors for a leading Oil & Gas project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring welding quality, compliance with international standards, and inspection of structural components and land rigs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection of welds and structural components.
  • Ensure all welding activities comply with project specifications and international standards .
  • Review and verify WPS, PQR, and welding procedures .
  • Conduct inspection activities in accordance with API standards (API 4F / API RP 4G) .
  • Monitor and inspect repair, refurbishment, modification, and upgrade activities .
  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports and documentation .
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality compliance and timely completion .
  • Perform CAT III & CAT IV inspections of land rigs.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector
  • CSWIP 3.1 or AWS Welding Inspector Certification (Mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of welding inspection techniques and standards
  • Experience in land rig inspection and maintenance activities
  • Good communication and reporting skills
