MECHANICAL DRAFTMAN (HVAC)

Salary:  4,500.00 (QAR) - 6,000.00 (QAR) per month

Job description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draughtsman with strong experience in HVAC systems and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality technical drawings, coordination layouts, and as-built documentation in line with project specifications and industry standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed  HVAC drawings , sections, and schematics (ducting, piping, ventilation layouts, etc.).
• Produce  MEP coordination drawings  ensuring clash-free integration with architectural, structural, and other services.
• Generate detailed  shop drawings  and as-built drawings for fit-out and mechanical works.
• Update drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, or design changes.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure compliance with company drafting standards.
• Ensure all layouts meet  industry codes , safety requirements, and project specifications.

 

Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience  in MEP/HVAC drafting, preferably within fit-out environments.
• Proficiency in  AutoCAD  is essential; knowledge of Revit MEP is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, duct routing, equipment sizing, and basic load calculations.
• Experience preparing coordination drawings for interior fit-out projects.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
