Foreman (Mechanical Fabrication Division)

The Foreman (Mechanical Fabrication Division) is responsible for supervising workshop and site activities related to steel fabrication, piping works, and pipe spool manufacturing. The role ensures safe, efficient, and high?quality execution of jobs as per approved drawings, welding standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise fabrication and installation of piping systems, structural steel, and pipe spools.
• Distribute daily tasks to fitters, welders, and helpers based on project priorities.
• Interpret and execute work as per isometric drawings, GA drawings, and P&IDs.
• Coordinate with planning, QC, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain daily progress reports, manpower allocation records, and material tracking.
• Monitor safety compliance and ensure housekeeping in the fabrication area.
• Support hydro-testing, pneumatic testing, and final system completion activities.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in mechanical fabrication and industrial piping projects.
• Strong knowledge of isometrics, spool drawings, materials, and weld maps.
• Ability to manage teams and coordinate with multi?discipline departments.
• Strong safety awareness (Permit to Work, LOTO, hot work safety).
