Cost & Planning Engineer - 5 Positions

 

Job Summary :
You’ll be the backbone of project control—handling schedules, tracking costs, and making sure the project doesn’t go off the rails. It’s classic engineering discipline: plan the work, then keep everyone honest about sticking to it.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using standard planning tools (Primavera / MS Project).
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts.
Monitor actual costs vs. budgets and flag variances early—no sugar-coating.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to track progress.
Generate weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
Support risk analysis, delay analysis, and recovery planning when needed.
Ensure planning and cost control practices follow company and client standards.
 
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Civil, or related).
5-10 years experience in planning/cost control, ideally in EPC or industrial projects.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel (and yeah, you actually have to be good at it).
Strong analytical skills and the ability to call out issues early.
Solid communication and coordination skills.
 
Salary: OMR 1200 - OMR 1300 
 
Duty Hours: 10 Hours
 
Contract Period: Long Term
